Dedication and commitment for Oldenburger Horses.

OLD increases the degree of fame of the Oldenburger Horse. Consequently, the breeders also benefit from the efforts of the support association. The president of the breeders' association Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V., Wilhelm Weerda, and the president of the jumping horse breeding association Springpferdezucht Verband Oldenburg-International, Paul Schockemöhle, are members of the board of OLD. Furthermore, Helmut Freiherr von Fircks - president of OLD - and Klemens Münstermann belong to the board.

"Great achievements require commitment" - as the president of OLD, Helmut Freiherr von Fircks, puts it in a nutshell. "In order to secure the leading position of German equestrianism, we have to further the new generation of riders and horses. The mission of our association as I see it is to provide financial resources and their systematic distribution" Freiherr von Fircks sums up his task. To this end, we will seek new members and, at an opportune moment, issue an appeal for donations.

OLD sees itself as a connecting link between breeding and sport.
